About Physicians Contracting
Organization of Texas

We specialize in the red tape so you don’t have to

Started in 1993, Physicians Contracting Organization of Texas is the go-to administrative expert for independent physicians.

Our mission is to support independent providers so that they can restore their role as the patient advocate while providing high-quality and cost-effective healthcare.

The PCOT team of experts are well-versed in all of the “red tape” independent physicians and their teams need to deal with on a regular basis, from reviewing managed care contracts to signing up with new insurance networks to credentialing.

Here’s how we help our members succeed:

We’re the only physicians’ contracting organization in East Texas: No one else does what we do on this level. We are trusted by the medical society to help independent physicians from all over Texas run their practices more effectively.

We don’t stop until your issue is resolved: Ensuring our providers have the answers they need is vital to our success. We continue to follow up with insurance companies on your behalf until we’ve found a solution.

We offer all the administrative benefits of working at a hospital: We take care of the managed care contracts and credentialing paperwork a hospital does, but we do it just for independent physicians and their office staff.

We’re the one-stop source for information: Our members are able to come to us with any issues related to their contracts, insurance claims, credentialing, and more. We can provide answers to their questions so they don’t have to waste their time searching for information.

Find relief knowing there is someone who can take care of the mountain of paperwork for you.

Become a member of the PCOT today and get help with managed care contract review, credentialing, and much more.

Meet our dedicated and knowledgeable team

We’re on standby to help your practice in whatever way we can.

Whether you need to know what paperwork to include when credentialing or how to come to a payer conflict resolution, we won’t stop till you have the answers you need.
